El Chapo begs Mexico President AMLO to tug him out of ‘cruel’ US jail


Convicted drug kingpin Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman is whining regarding the “cruel and unfair” conditions at his high-security US jail — and is begging authorities in Mexico to maneuver him to friendlier confines in his homeland.

The notorious narco-trafficker, who was extradited to the US in 2017 and is now locked up at a super-max federal jail in Colorado, is pleading with Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador to tug some strings and get him once more residence, Mexico News Daily reported.

Guzman’s lawyer talked about points are so harmful that when his shopper had a toothache jail staffers merely yanked his enamel.

“He doesn’t see the sun, the food is of very bad quality, there is no health care,” lawyer Jose Refugio Rodriguez instructed reporters.

“He had a problem with his molars and instead of treating them, they took them out so he wouldn’t fuss,” Rodriguez talked about, in response to the outlet. “He is hurting in a trial that was not in accordance with due process.”

Guzman, who was given a life sentence in 2019, is now saved in isolation and has solely been allowed a half-dozen cellphone calls since March 2022, his lawyer talked about, calling the restrictions “physical torture” for the one-time Sinaloa cartel boss.

Rodriguez talked about he considers Guzman’s pleas “as an SOS” for help.

So far, they’re falling on deaf ears — Lopez Obrador shot it down at a press conference Tuesday, the report talked about.

The story was first reported by Spanish-language retailers Infobae and El Financiero.
