SINGAPORE – Firefighters on the scene of the East Coast Road fireplace on Monday night have been initially unable to dislodge the pit cowl of the closest fireplace hydrant, said the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) in an announcement on Friday (Jan 13) night.
